Union Pacific Rail Yard - Denver

The Union Pacific Railway Rail Yard is not far from our hotel. Have you learned about the Transcontinental Railroad in school? It was the first railroad to connect the east and west coasts of the United States. What was pretty cool is that I noticed a Norfolk Southern Locomotive in the middle of all the Union Pacific trains. If you look just to the right of the building you will see the front of a black and white locomotive on the tracks. That's just like the ones you see at home. It was strange seeing it way out here. But it reminds us of home and more importantly, of you. Miss you !
